I'm looking to hike a stretch of the PCT through Mokelumne Wilderness in about two weeks, but I am having a hard time figuring out if permits are available. Elevations range from 4,000 feet near Salt Springs reservoir to over 10,380 ft at Round Top Peak in the north. It is within the boundaries of three national forests: Stanislaus, Eldorado and Toiyabe.
