In the latter days, an unusually powerful and evil king will arise, who will blaspheme God and oppress the people of God. When mentioning the little horn that grew up and uprooted three of the first ten horns, Daniel now tells us that this little horn grew until it was larger in appearance then the remaining seven horns. At least the final portion of chapter 7 has not been fulfilled.
